Redefine success on your own terms

Redefining Success on Your Own Terms Women Rising Megan Dalla Camina

From the moment you enter the world of work, you will be telling us what success is. It’ll hit the goal. Collect titles. Continue to achieve it. Press and hold. Continue.

And for many women, the path may look good on the outside, but it makes them feel disconnected inside.

Because when you get there, you realize that you don’t feel what it’s like “it’s there” and how you think of it? Or, when you check every box, but find yourself exhausted, uninspired, or quietly asking. Is this that?

The truth is: Success that demands you abandon yourself, your values, or your happiness is not a success worth striving for.

Older models aren’t working

Traditional stories of success – linear, externally validated and worked on achievement – were not built in women’s lives, cycles wisdomor keep complexity in mind. There is little room for rest, Intuitionor alignment. That rarely asks, What is important to you? That just asks, What’s next?

But you don’t need to subscribe to that version anymore. You can choose something different.

Redefining success begins with asking better questions

Instead of asking, What should I do next? listenwhat do you feel is consistent with who I am?

Instead of asking, What impresses others? try, What brings me energy, meaning and joy?

Instead of asking, How can I do more? listenwhat do I want to make and who do I want to be while creating it?

Something powerful happens when you shift the lens from external achievement to internal alignment. Stop proofing success, As I did.

Define a version of success

Success means:

  • I’m calmed down in your body and proud of you boundary.
  • Doing work that will invigorate you, even if others are expecting it.
  • There’s time for your relationship, Creativityor spiritual Practice.
  • Even if it’s uncomfortable, we lead with sincerity and courage.
  • Let go of perfection and accept existence.

The points are as follows: Success becomes personal. You don’t have to look like someone else. You don’t have to be loud. It just needs to be true you.

This is your permit

They are allowed to redefine the meaning of success.

You can shift metrics.

You are allowed to build a life Career That support – not obstruction, but your wholeness.

Success is not a destination. That’s the way it exists. And when it is rooted in your values, your vision, and your happiness, it is sustainable, vast, deeply fulfilling.
