Often, it is assumed that if we are running late, we must be rude, uncompassionate or lazy! In fact, our brains control how we perceive, plan, and act in time, and like brain-based functions, ease of implementation may vary from person to person. Commit to the most important tasks, projects, or commitments in your life. If your brain can take a break from using its time management and other skills from time to time, that’s what I would appreciate!

4. Use short term deadlines

For example, if you want to work on time awareness skills through “How much can I write in 5 minutes?” or “Can I clean my room in 20 minutes?”, you can cut off the amount of time that a regular task will take.
