I don’t generally watch reality TV. in the case of Golden Bachelor At ABC, I made an exception. As both friends and clients were talking about the show, as a lover of what’s going on in our culture, I naturally adjusted. In the second season of this reality series, Golden Bachelor Mel Owens divorce A 66-year-old former football player. He created quite a stir when he mentioned on his podcast that he prefers women aged 40-60 who don’t have artificial hips or wigs. This hit a chord with a woman over 50 who left them for the young woman and the woman they believed to have aged. Date.
So, three weeks ago, I adjusted it. He repeatedly apologised for comments on the podcast. Interestingly, the 23 women whom he judged spent time ran from age 58 to 77. ABC cleverly flipped the script in MEL (as regards women’s age), which made the show even more interesting. The goal is for Mel to ultimately choose one of these women as her next life partner. This is a bit rushed, but remember that this is reality TV and not real life. The women were a very skilled group. Many of them appear to have undergone many facial plastic surgery, in clear attempts to maintain a youthful look. The hip joints were clearly rule-out, but plastic surgery was clearly not the case.
The show is extremely popular among over 50 people who want to meet their partners and young crowds fascinated by the concept of aging and dating. Perhaps they consider the two to be mutually exclusive. Children over 50 that I spoke to in the report that the show gave them hope that you would want and that you could find dating and romance after the age of 50. Many women also explain to them how to measure against 23 female contestants compared to them. Interestingly, many have focused on their achievements and self-care. This was an overly pleasant surprise Note The appearance is problematic in so many ways. Some have begun to resume dating attempts as the show rekindled the idea of pursuing a date.
As I keep watching this show every week, me and at least thousands of women focus on not only female contestants, but Mel. The 23 contestants clearly idealize this guy they barely know. My concern is that this is what happens in real life. Just because a man of a certain age is attractive and available doesn’t mean he is a man of a solid personality. Continue to enjoy this show. Enjoy your date. But stay away from the idealization of your potential partner. This is nothing more than a broken heart and disappointment. Takeaways from the show means that self-care and socialization can be exciting and complicated, but chasing strangers is reality television.
