Secret strengths that make life easier

Imagine you had a superpower but didn’t understand it? How much do you miss?

Whether you notice it or not, some things come to you more easily than they do to others. These are your instinctive strengths. They feel easy, so you may not even recognize them as strengths. We often overlook what we are good at naturally. Because I find it too easy to count as a real skill.

Identifying these hidden talents allows you to use them more intentionally. Answering a few questions can help you see your instinctive strengths, so you can use them to your advantage.

14 Questions to Identify Instinctive Strengths

  • For each question, extrapolate what your answer is saying about you. For example, if you like grocery coupons (relevant to question 4. What problems do you enjoy, even if they look trivial?), you will find that you are strong in optimisation. If you use analogy to instinctively explain things to others, it suggests you are strong Pattern recognition Learning by analogy.
  • I divided them into buckets to make answers to my questions more manageable. Answer one bucket at a time, based on what you draw.

12. Do you instinctively know what to say to relieve tension?

13. How can you let people do what you want without realizing that you won’t affect them?

14. What are the social “cheat codes” used to make conversations smoother?

Other tips for how to answer these questions

  1. Try using the Voice Recorder app. Read the list of questions and if the answer pops out at you, read the question and your answers in the app. Start with questions that come to mind with easy answers.
  2. For the remaining questions, Let your unfocused mind do your job. One Approach: Choose one question to tackle for your focused mind every night before sleep. When you wake up, let your heart bleed at this question for a few minutes before you leave bed. Once you receive your answer, be prepared to record it in a notepad or audio recording.
  3. Or try another way from the “Bed, Bath, Bath” trilogy and take advantage of the unfocused mind. Intention to answer certain questions while driving, ride public transport, or take a bath or shower.

Enjoy and celebrate what comes to nature

A better self-awareness of your instinctive strengths will help you save your mental energy by becoming more confident about the value of those strengths, leaning on them in challenging times and doing what comes naturally. When we become aware of the strengths of the unconscious, we see more paths for them to improve our lives and performance..

We all tend to have or are not aware of hidden abilities that we take for granted. These could be innate talents or aptitudes that you might accurately underestimate, as we explored here, because they do not require conscious effort. Unconventional approach You are conditioned to see it as a weakness or habit rather than as a strength.

Life is more enjoyable when we can see that our daily activities are an expression of our strengths.
