Bliss Breuard was 23 years old. Because her father, Anatole Broyard, was unable to tell her about his deathbed because her father was almost dying in the hospital with prostate cancer. Growing up in a close family in a wealthy white community in Fairfield, Connecticut, Bliss grew up wondering why she didn’t know about her father’s side or much about them, despite her two sisters living in Brooklyn.

“Your father is black,” her mother told her. After he passed away, Bliss came to know about the mixed race aspects of the family that kept secrets during her father’s death as a white man for the next seven years. She wrote about the effects of this family’s secret revelation A drop (2007).

Rosemarie Fritzl married Joseph Fritzl for 50 years before discovering that his daughter, Elizabeth, who disappeared 24 years ago, actually lived in the basement of a Vienna apartment, was imprisoned in a bunker built by her husband and continued to appear as a manager of the building with mild money.

Have you ever wondered who your spouse or your parents are? What secrets do people we think are familiar with? Sometimes our family and friends surprise us. Secret psychology is a universal and fascinating aspect of humanity, but few studies have focused on how secrets are created, how they develop over time, and what we reveal them.

We all have secrets, most are healthy and harmless, but we’ll think a bit about whether you keep a formative secret. Information you hide from others and shape important relationships, work, or important aspects of your life. Secrets can be creative or harmful and may be innocent or malicious. From dilemma to disclosure, there are a few questions that may help you understand your secret life from now on.

What was the dilemma that led to this secret creation? It could have been your dilemma or it belonged to someone else who handed it to you. Bliss Broyard’s grandparents passed away as White when they moved from New Orleans to New York to get a job. Their son chose the same thing, but as they were not their two skin-skin daughters, Bliss inherited the family secrets without knowing it.

What was the secret purpose? For some, it is protection from anticipated risks such as poverty. shameor assault. For others, secrets may be essential to maintaining bonds, ensuring power, and building superiority over rivals.

What is the secret? In many cases, this is not as clear as we imagine. Try writing down important information you’re hiding to see how easy or difficult it is to put it into words. Shred it if necessary. Or share it carefully.

The secret is an economy that changes over time. How do current costs or risks to maintain secrets oppose the benefits? When is that likely to change that balance, and what will change it?

Secrets play an important role in the way we form both bonds boundary. They can function as weapons and rewards. In fact, we cannot live well without them.
